Um. Supernatural= :O So much in the first episode of Season 5! Like, I really liked it but...I don't know. There were times when I was freaking out and yelling at the TV, and then there times when I was laughing or just sitting there with wide eyes. I don't even know. Kripke is still a brilliant man. Anyway, not going to say anymore. What do you guys think?

I'll be off to work and then down at Plymouth for four days. And I think after, I might need some time to get my priorities together to figure out college, art and writing stuff. Working two jobs hasn't been easy and it hasn't given me much time to the things I want. So, I'll be back sooner than you think, and as it seems to be a bit quiet on LJ, hopefully things will kick back up again. I'll still be lurking when I can.
And, I'll probably be making some HBP related post soon about the real yays and nays about the movie. Been trying to contemplate this chapter of the series, and I think need to read the book again. Yep. But go see the movie when you can! And then we can share our opinions.
But for now, see y'all in a couple of weeks, flist!

I loved this place by the way. Guinness Storehouse for the win! Go here if you are ever in Dublin. More pics to come!
Anyway, I'm back. Yeah. I miss my fellow travelers already because I made some very good friends. They were awesome. So if you ever want to travel, consider Ireland. I think going on this trip was the best thing ever because it change my whole life.
A more in-depth review later. I'm so bloody tired right now.

That picture above is actually one of the places I'll be visiting in the next two weeks. Giant's Causeway is really close to the water, so yayy water!

Mkay, so hd_worldcup is ending soon! So if you haven't been keeping up, take a look at my previous rec page here. I have a few more lovely recs for Team AU, but honestly, I think you should check every single entry out!

It does have some angst and a character death. BUT. Please don't let this stop you from reading. It's worth it, I am telling you!
joanwilder has done a wonderful job with Montague and Capulet! Really, it's such a great metaphor to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and there is just so much emotions drawn out from these boys. This is a fic you can really fall in love with.
stellamoon has some lovely art! Secret Heritage is absolutely gorgeous! She does a fantastic job to create a mood and to really get Harry and Draco to interact with each other.

-I have a summer internship! Yay!
-I've also sent in my other submission for hds_beltane today, after having to take an extension. BUT...POSTING IS UP. So check the beginning submissions out!
-So bad, on my part, since I'll be leaving the country soon, but I claimed a prompt for slashfest. Hee. Claims close on May 5th, in case you're interested!
-OMG SUPERNATURAL. KRIPKE...WHY? Gahhh. Finale in two parts...I am really excited/scared to see it.
-Too much to do right now. Oh school...just sucks so hard.

So it's been unbelievably hot for the past couple of days, and it looks like that won't stop until sometime on Thursday. Lovely. I played on game of Quidditch in the sun and almost got dehydrated. 0 points for me and 2 points for the sun. EW.
My point: If you haven't kept up with hd_worldcup, take a peek! We still have prompts that will be posted in the next week or so, but we need votes and comments! I can't say that I'm not biased, but I do love Team AU's submissions so far, so definitely root for us!
Week One Round-Up
FIC:
-Six Years by chyldofeternity is a great fic that start off the cup.
-If you want a fic about dragons, definitely check out akiko88's Comfort After Pain.
ART:
reira_21's The First Day of Spring is a must-see. Really, the art is wonderful and presented as a Flash movie, it's perfect.
Week Two Round-Up
FIC:
-tegancrush's The Magical Mystery Tour is so awesome. It takes place in a circus, and itt's like another Scooby Doo episode you would see on the telly. Brilliant!
-I simply loved kirinin's primum mobile, or ten forgotten things. It's so poetic and beautiful and it evokes so many emotions.
-joanwilder's Harry's Pockets is another circus fic that I simply loved! Even if clowns creep you out, you won't hate clowns in this fic. Seriously You might end up growing fond of them!
-Faith in Miracles by leo_draconis is so heartbreaking and powerful. It really is something you just need to read.
ART:
-nk_aoede has such a great submission with Cruel Language. It's in the woods and it has some angst. The colors are splendid, and I really think this is something you can look at again and again.
-nonconcurrence has illustrated her prompt very nicely in Paperweight. You really can't help but fall in love with it, and with Draco.
Week Three Round-Up
FIC:
-dacro's Interpreting Draconis is amazing. It's so detailed and it deals with signing. There's so much that can be learned about this world, it's intriguing.
-dracofiend's Enchantment; Loss is so very clever! I loved how it was a puzzle to figure out what was going on, and Harry and Draco are actually friends! Yay!
-Veiled Threats by cyane_snape is absolutely mad of win for so much of it's Veelaness and shiny wings! It's mpreg, but it's a good one. It makes you want to squee for these boys.
-incognito's Gamble Everything For Love is so, so realistic. This is where parallel worlds exist and you want to hug Draco so much because he just wants an escape. I think I've read this at least five times.
-The thing I love about Crown of Thorns by el_princess is that it's really original. Draco is a Muggle and the way he meets Harry is simply touching. Their bond is just works, because the progression is slow and sweet.
ART:
-Draco Malfoy in 'Drunk as a house elf' by camenaluscinia is so cute and funny. I love how it's like scene from a play or movie. And it really makes me smile. Hee.
FOR THIS WEEK:
Two fic submissions from thesamanthahope: Non Faux Pas is simply funny with Harry and Ron taking etiquette lessons. Alpha and Omega is just touching and bittersweet with Astoria actually helping Harry and Draco for the best.
And, my art submission is actually up: Paths We Take. Comment, and let me know what you think!
