| JOURNALS, FANFICTION, ARTWORK ARCHIVES |
[22 May 2010|11:22pm] |
Hello, flist!
I would like to inform you all that I am now dispersing myself at other places besides LJ. It's time to rely on other sources for my entries, fanfiction and artwork just because it is unwise not to do so. You can find me at the various places below:
Journals: Live Journal and Insane Journal. Fanfiction: Skyehawke Archives and HP Fandom. Artwork: Deviant Art.
I hope that helps. Don't worry, I'll still be here. For now, at least. =D

| So yeah... |
[18 Feb 2008|10:48pm] |
|
Some time since I've updated this. I'll get be transferring the rest of my entries from LJ here at some point. Maybe when the craziness dies down...if ever. Same goes for Greatest Journal, though really, I'll still be using LJ. Mkay...peace.

Stay away from me Build a fortress And shield your beliefs Touch the divine As we fall in line
Can I believe When I don't trust All your theories Turn to dust I choose to hide From the all seeing eye
Destroy this City of Delusion Break these walls down I will avenge Justify my reasons With your blame
You'll not rest Settle for less Until you guzzle And squander what's left Do not deny That you live and let die -Muse

| Here and there... |
[04 Oct 2007|10:48pm] |
Well, I think I've caught something, just because I've been hanging out with the Pit crew anyway, and like half of them are sick. So I was bound to get sick too. It's still fun to hang out with them though...with late night chats, drawing and homework sessions...not to mention House nights, America's Next Top Model and the newest thing of all...attack of the Nerf guns! I love my friends ever so much. They're crazy and fun and I couldn't be happier.
Helen and Danny came up this past weekend...and I would say there were some highs and lows but overall, it was totally worth it. It was almost like summer again, except I was quite stressed out with all the work I had to get done. My silkscreen prints are done finally though, and I have a critique tomorrow for them. It was such a bitch to print five layers and I will never, ever do that...at least for a while.
( House and ANTM this week... )
I am heading back home for the Columbus day weekend, and I'm thinking by then, I can possibly get some ficcage done that I've been wanting to do for ages. I still need to send that huge 50k story to my betas...or at least the first chunk of it, because I do want to take it somewhere. So far, it's a really good story...one of the best I have written and the only novella too. And I think I've been slash-deprived because I can't remember the last time I read a story. I reckon I can only blame exams and my art project for taking up so much of my life this week. And yes, I'm still here, so no worries. I'll get better at updating again.
SUPERNATURAL IS ON TOMORROW BUT I HAVE NO TV! And I have an exam the next morning. WHYYYYY?!!!!
P.S. project_lyse, did you know you literally signed off ten minutes before I came back? Seriously...why does that always happen? BAHH. I miss yous. We need to catch up woman, as always.

| HAPPPPYY BIRTHDAYYYYYYYY! |
[24 Aug 2007|02:49pm] |
HAPPPY BIRTHDAYYY to my one and only project_lyse!
I love you to bits and pieces and I am sooo happy you received your care package full of goodies. As a friend of over five years, you have proved to be such a great person who is willing to listen and I love how we never run out of things to talk about. We're inseparable, we're twins, and everyone should know it. I hope you have a very awesome birthday and wowww...it's sooo early/late to be posting an entry at such a time but yeah, I loveee youuu lots! And now I'm going to bed because I just got home and yeah.

| You should consider this... |
[11 Aug 2007|10:18pm] |
Well, I found this open letter being pimped by elfflame. So I am doing the same and I'm pimping it for femmequixotic. Because we really need to know what is or isn't a violation of TOS of Livejournal and Six Apart. It's our right as customers, yes? Go spread the word.
In other news, I got my hair cut...so that four inches or so hacked off! Sideswept bangs, razored layers, my usual. It'll grow out. Also had a small family reunion with my my aunt, uncle and my baby cousin. I met my cousin properly for the first time, and I haven't seen my relatives since they got married four years ago. Surprisingly, it wasn't awkward.
Another 10-6 shift...so that's seven hours of stocking up food and candy from delivery. I hate surprise deliveries. They suck. And looks like tomorrow is another little reunion for the cousins at a really expensive sushi place. I also need to get my college stuff together. Kind of strange how the summer is approaching an end so soon.
Happy early birthday to emmagrant01!!

| Give a Life, Save a Life (1/5) |
[03 Aug 2007|03:21am] |
Title: Give a Life, Save a Life (1/5) Author: sugareey Rating: PG Characters: Harry/Draco, implied Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione and obviously Narcissa/Lucius Word Count: 7,258 Summary: If life debts were so simple, they wouldn't be called life debts at all. Harry tries to figure out what they really mean and is left with another mission, just when he thought the war was over. Disclaimer: Not mine. However, it is my duty to manipulate the characters. Warning: MAJOR DH SPOILERS. I think that says quite a lot. A/N: I had to write something. My muse insisted, and refused to let me rest until I did so. I hope it's good so far. I'm still working on the overall details because this meant to be a one shot, but things never turn out the way they should. Well, cheers anyway!

| Hiatus again. |
[17 Jul 2007|03:24pm] |

I'm posting this now because I have a dentist appointment and a physical tomorrow, and I'll be packing for Martha's Vineyard. I also don't need anymore asshats ruining Deathly Hallows for me, since I have already run across some spoilers I did not need to know. I'm also drilling the hell out of my 40k H/D fic. If you wanna beta it when I'm finished, drop a line. I promise you, it'll be good.
Happy birthday to Jared Padalecki and disparue, whose birthdays are both on July 19th! May all your wishes come true!
One last thing: Translate 'Hate Potion' for me in Latin correctly, and I'll write you a drabble of your choice. Got it? Good. Then I'm outta here 'cause I've got work to do.

| Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix Movie Review |
[13 Jul 2007|03:08pm] |
So for those of you who have not seen the movie yet, please do not click the cut if you don't want to be spoiled.
I haven't been to a midnight showing for HP before, so this time was a first, now that I think about it. But it was great fun, and we definitely ran into some high school kids we knew...and our school drama teacher, which was kind of weird. But anyway, lots of Gryffindors around and I was surprised there weren't much of any other house. I do think there was a Death Eater lurking around. So on to my review of the movie.

Warmth: 1/7 for 7spells |
[04 Jul 2007|03:18am] |
Title: Warmth Author: sugareey Rating: PG Characters: Cedric/Oliver Prompt: Cold hands, cold feet Word Count: 1,955 Summary: Oliver tries not to sulk too much when Gryffindor loses the match, but it surprises him when he finds comfort from the winner himself. Warnings: Consistent with PoA. Disclaimer: Kudos go to the amazing J.K Rowling for creating the awesome game of Quidditch and the players that go along with it. A/N: For 7spells. Unbetaed, I know. But it's about time I began this table which is located here.
( You’re going to be alright. It’ll be fine… )

| HP crazzzayyy! |
[30 Jun 2007|11:22pm] |
So ever since yesterday, I think I have gone into this phase where I am finally getting excited about both the Harry Potter movie and the book. I'm kind of surprised that didn't come sooner. But I'm making my way with my fic that was for summerwriting. I have no idea how long it's going to be but so far, I really like where it's heading. Trying to finish it before the 21st, so if I write every day (which will be impossible when I'm gone for Martha's Vineyard in a few weeks), then I might be able to send it off to a beta by then. And I will make sure I finish that fic before reading Deathly Hallows. And I will remove myself from HP fanfiction so I do not get spoiled again. Although, I do know about that major book spoilers now since some asshat from my uni decided to post it up in our lj community.
With my book preordered, I just have to order tickets online for me and the kids and we'll be set for an extravaganza! I'm thinking about dressing up, no matter what. Either as Romilda Vane or Cho Chang. It depends if I get this Ravenclaw sweatshirt from Ebay. If not, I'm more than happy to go out in full costume or else as a crazy HP fan with my HP purse, my wand, and my Fluffy T-shirt.
I am now thinking about going to either Portus 2008 or Terminus 2008. Portus is in Dallas, TX, while Terminus is in Chicago, IL. I'm still trying to figure out if I'll be able to get my license by then. I could drive to Texas, but it might be a long way. Chicago...just makes me iffy. But I mean, for either one, I can take the plane, then take either the bus or train to the hotel and where each symposium is at. I would prefer if someone went with me, but I can't exactly force people, can I?. And if I did have my license, I still need a car.
I really want to go Portus more...maybe because after my SPN paper about H.H. Holmes' Murder Castle, I'm like scared to stay in hotels in Chicago. Lol. But registration is for a cheap price for both and it has started already! I will have more than enough money at least by fall semester in case I end up registering in advance. And, it would make up for what I missed at the Witching Hour in 2005. I think I deserve to go to at least one place where I can actually talk to people who are just as enthusiastic about HP as I am. And they won't mock me for being such a dork. I shall look over more details, but if anyone is thinking about going to Portus or Terminus, drop a line!

| Do we really need anymore Mary-Sues?! |
[14 Jun 2007|11:26pm] |
Mkay...so what I'm hearing there are some major Season Three spoilers circulating. I won't disclose them here, but you can always check them out at supernatural_tv. I think it's really too early to really have any say that they are indeed true. Most of the sources seem to be legit, but then again, I really would rather wait and see what the CW is up to, as opposed to where Kripke wants to take his show. I guess we'll have to see. I really just don't want SPN to turn into another one of those dramatic type of shows that we already have. It's as good as it gets already, and it would be better without any "additions." Of course, more scary creatures and plottage with the demons are fine by me.
So I worked today...not too bad. The usual stuffage and all. I'm okay with it, because I'm getting weekly paychecks, which I absolutely love. And more hours means more money. Right now, I'm working about 20 hours. We'll see what happens for July and August. But I ran down to Starbucks to get my supervisor a Chai Tea, and when I walk in...they're playing Booker T and the MG's Green Onions. And all I could do was smile and be like "Prissonnn! SPN!!!" I really am a loser when it comes to anything that reminds me of SPN, but especially with music.
Helen's summer party is tomorrow though! Kind of mad that it's not as hot as I would hope, but we can't exactly control the weather here. At least I have a day off. But...I've been trying to reel myself back into H/D because of hd_holidays and I'm definitely impressed with what people have written. Yay for fanfiction! I should probably finish off some stories before the last book comes out. It's really strange how the HP collection will be complete really soon. But what can ya do? It's kind of exciting yet sad at the same time.

| Tralalalala... |
[10 Jun 2007|06:03pm] |
I think today is probably one of my days to actually rest for once. I was working from 10-6 yesterday...and man, was it slow. At least three hours of facing and since it was raining...it was such a drag. And then straight from there I went to see my cousin's dance recital. And it really made me realize how much I miss dancing. Because, it's not like college really gives you that much time to do everything, not with classes and a work study. So yeah, I'm hoping Nina and I can start a dance club thing or something. Or else I'll have to see if there are any clubs that exist already for upcoming semester.
I finished my slashfest fics though! Sorta on time kind of. I don't think I've ever written so much in my life. Note to self: do not wait until the last minute. Take one step at a time. I am going for schmoopfest though: Sam and Dean! Yays! I must say, I have a pretty good prompt to work with. It is kind of weird to reread some of my past fics though. Not to be all egoistic, but I think I have written some pretty good stuff back in the days. If I do keep up with fanfiction, maybe I can continue that streak with more challenges. Just as long as I don't rush myself, I guess.
Happy birthday to misread_! I'm hoping to get a doodle in for ya, and I also owe one to luciology too. Need to get my art going again. Sometime this week, I promise!
So really, I think I am gonna crash and burn. Or something. Oh man...SPN quoting. I love how project_lyse and I can do that and no one else would get it! It rules. Like when we call people bitches or jerks, they would be like, "What are you calling me a bitch for?" "You're supposed to say, 'jerk'." "What?" "NEVER MIND!" Hehehehe. Okay...I might just watch "Bloodlust" now.

| I am loving it. |
[25 May 2007|03:36pm] |
I am officially back home. I guess I'll say that because after hanging out with the crew for the last couple of days, I know I won't be going back to Amherst for another three months. I've missed the silliness and late-night food runs. It's just so interesting to have two completely different worlds: one at home and one at college. I dunno. But I go back to CVS starting next week. I'm still iffy about it, but I guess we'll see how the first night goes. Probably my usual 4-10. Ewww.
The econ final was a bit tricky, but for the most part, it was like our previous exams. I'm jsut so glad I'm finally done. Kind of jealous how everyone was done earlier than me. But at least they were waiting for me to come home. Yayness right there!
If you have not seen Pirates of the Caribbean: at World's End you need to do that right now! BEST MOVIE EVER. It answers a lot of questions, there are a lot of shockers and the action in it was beyond impressive. I loved it! It's about 2.5 to 3 hours, but it is soo worth your money. OMG. LOVE LOVE. I so would like to be a pirate for Halloween now. And it's only May. It's always nice to plan.
Another thing I love is the song hidden_easel posted on supernatural_tv: "I Saw Her Standing There" by Roark Critchlow featuring Jensen Ackles. Jensen has such a great voice. I hope he gets to sing more in SPN. I'm sorry, but he really needs to. Yessss, he does.
Also...HAPPY BIRTHDAY to hd_obsession!

| SPN thoughts and theories: AHBL, Demons and Colt |
[19 May 2007|04:33pm] |
I should be studying for Greek Myth intensely right now, or else doing some calculus but I thought I get this out there before I forget. Let me just say that I am stoked there will be a season three to look forward to this fall, and I cannot wait to see what Kripke, the boys and the crew have for us! So...onto "All Hell Breaks Loose Pts. 1 and 2" and any other little tid bits that have been bothering me.
( Warning: Spoilers! )

| "All Hell Breaks Loose Pt. 2" |
[17 May 2007|09:13pm] |
So after seeing that really messed up yet intriguing ending to Smallville, I'm pretty pumped for SPN.
So here we go...
( carry on my wayward son )

|
| DAMN RIGHT! |
[17 May 2007|12:44pm] |
THIS SAYS IT ALL
It can't get much clearer than that. So there are roughly 8-9 hours until the SPN finale comes on. I get go to my final college writing conference before studying a bit for Greek Myth. Calc review at 7...so I'm hoping we get out by 8:30 so I rush to my room to flip the tv on by 9. THIS IS IT! We find out if our theories are right, and what happens next for the boys. Of course...a review shall come later. And maybe some graphics as to close one hell of a season. Haven't done that in a while. The Winchester series should be complete, and I'll post the last print tomorrow @ chocoarte. WORD.
*EDIT* Print #4 is finally up! Check it out!
